Green beans produced in our cooperative are Helda type, characterised by having flat and straight pods, smooth texture, almost without lateral line, with a length of between 15 and 25 cm, very tender and soft flavour.
It is one of the main fresh legumes used in our cuisine and is therefore, one of the best sources of fresh vegetable protein, something to consider in diets low in meat and fish.
The production is carried out both outdoors and in greenhouses. In the greenhouses it is one of the crops on which the plant’s health care is done through biological control.
Season: from April to October.
